Productivity Killers: Our Word Dishonored

Lack of integrity concerning commitments is the contrast between a promise and what is delivered –it is our word dishonored. The ‘infected’ party makes a promise without intending to fulfi ll it, and breaks it without prior notice, apologies or care whatsoever for the affected party.
In today’s world, we need the cooperation of an incredible number of people to survive. Take your breakfast coffee, for instance, and consider just how many people contribute to materialize it: producers, carriers, retailers and secondary service providers, among many others. All of them – individuals and companies– form an impressive network of coordinated actions. Similar networks exist within each of these organizations.
